Description

The buildings at 44 and 46 High Street form an early 19th century red brick range. Number 46 has brickwork that has been painted. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has gabled ends. The building is three storeys high and has four bays. It features sash windows with glazing bars, each with a simple lintel above. The ground floor now contains two modern shop fronts. The buildings are included in the listing primarily for their contribution to the wider group value of the area.
