Description
The terraces, balustrades, and steps located approximately 15 meters south of Ruyton Manor date from around 1860. They are constructed from roughly coursed and dressed red sandstone rubble, featuring ramped and moulded ashlar coping. The series of terraces at the front of Ruyton Manor are connected by straight flights of steps. The front of the terraces is adorned with square-shaped balusters that have ball finials at the corners and in the center. Additionally, the rear terrace includes a small tower-like projection at its center. This structure is included for its group value with Ruyton Manor.
