Description

The pump and basin, located approximately 60 meters south-west of Wootton House, date from the mid to late 19th century. The structure features a cast-iron pump and a rectangular stone basin. The pump shaft displays a maker's emblem and has a plain cap topped with a pointed dome finial. It also includes a curved handle and a decorated spout. This installation is noted as a complete example of a village pump.
