Description
The churchyard cross, located approximately 5 metres to the south of the south aisle of the Church of Saint Chad, is likely from the 15th or 16th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 19th century. It is made of red sandstone and features a square base with an octagonal shaft that has broach stops at the base. The top of the cross is a cast-iron piece from the 19th century.
