Description
Wootton Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It has a rendered exterior and a plain tile roof, with brick stacks at the ends. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features a three-window range. The windows are modern 20th-century three-light metal casements, and there are two gabled dormers with 19th-century two-light casements beneath weatherboarded gables. The central entrance consists of a plank door with a plain overlight, sheltered by a simple pentice hood, and is flanked by three-light casements. To the left, there is another plank door with a blocked overlight. A single-storey wing to the left has a plain tile roof and a timber-framed gable end, with two early 20th-century wood casements. At the rear, there is a single-storey wing made of rubble. The interior has not been inspected.
