Description
No 6 is a building from the first half of the 16th century, originally designed as a small two-bay hall house featuring a central cruck truss. It has one storey and an attic, with square panelled timber framing that consists of six panels wide and two panels high, set on a stone rubble plinth. A large stone rubble chimney breast is located at the gable end, and there is one gabled dormer window. The roof is covered with old tiles, while the main front has been rebuilt in stone rubble. The interior was divided into two storeys and rooms during the mid-17th century.
