Description

No. 183 The Homend is a 17th-century timber-framed cottage that has been completely covered in roughcast. It features a slate roof with gable ends that have been raised. The building now stands at two storeys high and has three windows. The first floor has two-light casement windows, while the ground floor includes a three-light window and one modern casement window. There is a modern glazed door to the left of the entrance, and an outbuilt brick chimney stack is located on the right end of the cottage. Nos. 147 to 163 (odd) and No. 183 form a group.
