Description

Nos 221 and 223 on The Homend are early 19th-century buildings made of red brick. They feature a low-pitched slate roof with gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The buildings are two storeys high and have two windows. The first floor has three-light wood mullion casements, while the ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars. There are flush panel doors on the left and right, along with stone steps, all topped with flat brick arches. To the right, there is a round arch passageway, and brick chimney stacks are present. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 203 to 235 (odd).
