Description

The Baptist Chapel, built in the early 19th century, is constructed of red brick and features later 19th-century blue and yellow brick dressings on the pediment, which includes a lunette with radial bars. The chapel has two tall 24-pane sash windows with rusticated lintels, set in sunken panels with round arch heads and continuous stone imposts. The entrance consists of an 8-panel double door topped by an arched fanlight with radial bars. In front of the chapel, there are iron railings and a gate leading to the street, characterized by arrow-head shafts. The chapel is part of a group that includes Nos 96 to 116 (even) and Nos 120 and 122, forming a cohesive architectural ensemble with Nos 126 to 132 (even).
