Description

Nos 153 and 155 on The Homend are late 18th century buildings constructed of red brick with a slate hipped roof. They rise three storeys and include a basement. The façade features four windows, which are sashes with glazing bars set in moulded casings, topped with flat rubbed brick arches. The ground floor has a large shop front, likely from the early 20th century, adorned with a modillion cornice and a blind case. To the right, there is a round-headed passage entrance and a sash window with a segmental relieving arch above it. The buildings also have brick chimney stacks. Nos 147 to 163 (odd) and No 183 are part of a group.
