Description
This stable and hayloft, located about 65 yards south of Marstow Court, likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has a rectangular two-bay plan oriented north-east to south-west and consists of two levels.
On the south-east elevation, there are two early 20th-century 2-light windows flanking a central entry that has a ledged door. The south-west gable includes another 2-light window on the ground floor. The north-east gable features a pitching hole for the loft and a central blocked opening on the ground floor. Inside, there is an interrupted tie-beam truss with queen struts that rise from the floor beam to the collar.
