Description

Tyings Cottage is a 17th century timber frame cottage with painted brick nogging. It was refronted in the early 19th century in painted brick. The building is two storeys high and features two casement windows. It has a low pitched slate roof with gable ends. There is a modern addition on the south-west side, while the timber frame is exposed at the ends and the rear of the cottage.
