Description
The cow shelter, likely built in the 18th century, is attached to the southwest end of Oldhay Farmhouse. It is constructed of rubble and features a corrugated iron roof. The structure consists of four bays with an open front supported by three posts. To the right-hand bay, there is a small extension for a cot, which has split log cladding under a pent roof. Inside, there is a continuous wooden trough along the back wall that slopes away from the cot. The interior also includes open rafter trusses with pegged end butt joints at the apexes.
