Description

Upper Castleton is an 18th-century red brick house that stands two storeys tall. It features three wide sash windows with glazing bars and segmental heads. The entrance includes a panelled door beneath a flat stone porch supported by timber posts. The house has brick dentil eaves and a slate roof with gable ends. The north end of the building is slightly lower and constructed from stone rubble.
