Description

This is a 17th-century timber-frame cottage located on Burley Gate in Much Cowarne. Originally a one-storey and attic building with two casement windows, it features a tile roof with gable ends. A brick lean-to has been added to the rear. A stone stack at one end of the cottage includes an oven bulge. The original timber frame has been covered with plaster panels and the front has been re-faced using red brick.
