Description

The Wye Bridge is a late 15th-century bridge located in Hereford, with significant widening work carried out in 1826. It is constructed of ashlar sandstone and features six arches, one of which was rebuilt in the 17th century. The bridge is characterised by V-shaped cutwaters incorporating refuges, decorative bands, and chamfered ashlar coping.
