Description
This is a group of two adjoining barns located approximately 50 meters west of Priory Farmhouse. They date from the 17th century or early 18th century and have undergone later additions and alterations. The barns are timber-framed with some brick infill and sections covered in painted corrugated metal cladding, topped with a corrugated metal roof. The structure consists of five bays aligned east to west, with a later three-bay addition extending north at the west end. There is a central threshing floor entrance to the larger barn, along with later additions on both the north and south sides. The barns feature inclined strut trusses and four square panels from the sill to the wall-plate. They are included for their group value.
