Description

Alton House is an 18th-century building with later alterations, located on the south side of Alton Street. The structure consists of two blocks: the right-hand block has two storeys and a cellar, while the left-hand block features three storeys. The exterior is finished in stucco. At the rear, there are two wings, one of which has a two-storeyed splayed bay. The left-hand block is adorned with 18th-century casement windows that include mullions and transoms, while the right-hand block has leaded casements, all featuring Tudor dripmoulds. Access to the entrance is via five steps, accompanied by an iron handrail.
