Description
This pair of gate piers and gates, located approximately 250 metres south of Hill Court, dates from the early 18th century. They are constructed from sandstone ashlar and wrought iron. The gate piers have a square plan, feature cornices, and are topped with elaborately-decorated vases. Between the piers is a wrought iron screen that includes central gates. Above the gates is an elaborate overthrow that displays a shield with the arms and crest of Clarke.
