Description

The stables attached to the south-east corner of Pixley Court are likely from the 18th century. They are constructed of brick and sandstone rubble with a hipped tiled roof. The building has two storeys and features four windows with segmentally-headed 2-light openings. There is a ledged door with strap hinges and transom ventilators located between the two left-hand openings, and a large ledged 20th-century wagon entry on the right side. This structure is included for its group value.
