Description
No. 25, Church Street is an 18th-century house constructed of coursed stone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. The rear features a brick axial stack, and another brick stack serves the rear wing. The property is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The windows are predominantly 6/6 sashes in broad moulded cases, set beneath brick flat arches. A brick modillion eaves band runs along the top of the facade. The right-hand entrance features a wide, six-panelled door within lined reveals and a moulded case. To the left of the entrance is a canted bay window with sashes of 2/2, 8/8, and 2/2 sizes, and to the right a 12/12 sash in a moulded case. All windows in the bay are covered by a slate pentice roof. A brick blocked opening, covered by a timber lintel, is visible on the right returned side, beneath the gable.
