Description
Marlbrook Hall is a farmhouse dated 1781, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and mid-20th century. It is constructed from handmade brick and features a two-span plain tiled roof, with large end stacks on the front range that have tiled offsets. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a dentilled eaves cornice. It consists of four bays, and all the windows are 20th-century cross-casements with cambered heads. The central entrance is framed by a 20th-century gabled timber porch that includes side lights and a half-glazed 20th-century door. There are attic lights in the gable ends. On the left side of the rear range, the date "1781" is displayed in blue brick headers. The original farmhouse, which dates from the 17th century or earlier, was located to the south-east of the current structure.
