Description
Old Lock on the River Soar is a pound-lock built in the late 18th century for the Loughborough Navigation. It has undergone some minor alterations in the 20th century. The structure is primarily made of ashlar, with elements of iron, wood, and some red brick. The lock features an ashlar chamber with some brick patching and includes two wooden and iron gates.
