Description

The Hollies is a house located on Main Street in Sutton Bonington, built in 1704 with some alterations in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with some blue brick chequering and features a slate roof. The building has two external gable stacks and dogtooth eaves, along with a first-floor band. It is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has a panelled door with an overlight and a moulded surround, supported by two brackets that hold a hood. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, with two similar sashes located above. All the sashes are flanked by single 20th-century shutters. The right gable is inscribed in blue brick with "I.L. 1704".
