Description
Clark's Bridge is a canal bridge located on the Grantham Canal, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features later blue brick copings along with some repair work. The bridge has an elliptical arch and a three-course band at the base of the parapet. Its sides are swept, ending in square piers. The canal was authorized in 1793, and this section was built by James Green, a surveyor employed by Lord Middleton of Wollaton Hall.
