Description
Manor Farm Cottages is an 18th-century house that was subdivided in the 19th century and altered in the 20th century. It is built of brick and features a 20th-century pantile roof with plain tile verges and a catslide at the rear. The eaves are dentillated, and there are two coped gables with kneelers. The 19th-century addition has cogged eaves. The building is two storeys high and has four bays arranged in an L-plan.
The south front includes a single bay addition to the west, which is a raised 19th-century structure, and a lower 19th-century addition further to the west. The main south front features a 20th-century brick porch with a plastic roof, a door, and a 20th-century casement window to the left. To the right of the porch, there is a blocked opening flanked by single casements with segmental rubbed brick heads. Further right, another blocked opening is followed by a glazing bar sash window with a segmental rubbed brick head. Next is a door with a segmental head, followed again by a blocked opening, and then another glazing bar sash with a segmental rubbed brick head. Above this, there are four 19th-century Yorkshire sash windows.
On the west gable, there is a Yorkshire sash window with a segmental head to the left and a 20th-century casement to the right. Above, there is another Yorkshire sash with a segmental head, followed by a 20th-century casement. The uppermost window on this gable is also a Yorkshire sash with a segmental head. The rear elevation features a 20th-century glazed door and, above to the west, a Yorkshire sash window.
