Description
The former offices at the south end of Northgate Railway Station in Newark on Trent were built in the mid-19th century for the Great Northern Railway Company. The structure features a timber frame with matchboard cladding and a slate roof topped with a single brick ridge stack. It is a single-storey building with four bays, each supported by shaped posts. On the platform side, there are two 12-pane sash windows, a pair of half-glazed doors to the left, and a single half-glazed door to the right, all of which have overlights. The rear of the building has four 12-pane sash windows. This building is included for its group value.
