Description
This is a house built in 1786, constructed from brick with pale headers in the gables. It features a 20th-century pantile roof, brick eaves, and 20th-century coped gables. The building has two storeys with garrets and follows a T-plan layout, with three windows.
The central entrance has a moulded doorcase supported by scroll brackets under a hood. It contains a six-fielded panel door, flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. To the south of the door, there is an inscription in the brick that reads 'May 14 JL 1786'. Above the door, there are three additional glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. The north and south gables feature 18th-century two-light Yorkshire sashes in the garrets.
Inside, the house has contemporary panelling, a fitted cupboard, shutters, and a dog-leg staircase with turned balusters, square newels, and a moulded softwood handrail.
