Description
The Corner House is an early 19th-century house made of brick with a pantile roof. It features stucco lintels, stone sills, two coped gables, three gable stacks, and a single off-centre ridge stack. The building has two storeys and six windows arranged in two ranges.
The west range includes an off-centre 20th-century half-glazed door, which is flanked to the west by a single 20th-century two-light glazing bar casement and to the east by a 19th-century glazing bar sash, all with stucco lintels. Beyond this, there is a moulded timber doorcase with decorative brackets supporting a hood and a rectangular overlight, which contains a 19th-century part-glazed panelled door. Above this door, there are three 19th-century glazing bar sashes.
The east range features a central 20th-century metal-framed French window, flanked to the west by a 19th-century canted timber bay and to the east by a 19th-century glazing bar sash. Above this range, there are three 20th-century top-hung casements.
