Description
The Pavilion at Debdale Hall is a Grade II listed building located in Mansfield Woodhouse, off Debdale Lane. This structure, which dates back to the early 18th century, was originally used as a stable. It is constructed of dressed stone and features the remnants of a hipped slate kingpost roof with corbelled eaves. The pavilion is a single storey with a square plan and consists of three bays.
The openings in the building are adorned with keystones. The east front has a central round-headed opening flanked by two flat-arched openings, all of which are currently blank. On the south front, there is a ramped boundary wall with flat stone coping to the left, and to the right, a round-headed door accompanied by an unglazed casement. The west front features a large opening to the left and a door with an offset overlight to the right. The north front retains the remains of a round-headed opening. Inside, there are three round-headed recesses that were used for mangers.
