Description

This mid-19th century cartshed, now used as a cowshed, stands north of the stables at Debdale Hall, near Mansfield Woodhouse. It is constructed of dressed stone with a plain tile roof. The cartshed is a single-storey building of five bays. The south gable features a screen wall with flat stone coping. A lean-to addition is attached to the left of the screen wall, and to the left of the gable is a doorway. Above the door, to the right, are two blocked windows. The east front has four cart openings supported by rounded piers. The north gable has an unglazed opening, and above it, a further opening. The roof is supported by a kingpost. The building is included on the listing primarily for its group value with the surrounding estate.
