Description

Lowe's Farmhouse, now a house, is an early 18th-century building that was extended in the early 19th century. Constructed of brick, it features gabled and hipped pantile roofs, a plinth that is partly rendered, and dentillated eaves. The farmhouse has two ridge stacks, a single gable stack, and a single side wall stack. It is two storeys tall with garrets and consists of five bays in an L-plan layout.

The windows are primarily glazing bar sashes, with the ground floor front windows having segmental heads. The south front is highlighted by central brick and stone double steps with iron railings, leading to a door that has an overlight and curved brackets supporting a flat hood. This door is flanked by single sashes. To the right, there is a lower, set-back 19th-century addition with two casements, and above it, three sashes, the central one being the smallest. Further to the right are two additional casements.

The west gable features a sash window on each floor, with a 20th-century casement above. The lower two-storey rear wing has a first-floor band. The west side has a door and a blocked doorway to the left, and a casement to the right, with two casements above. On the east side, there is a casement on each floor. The rear elevation has a door and a casement to the left, and to the right, a door with a segmental head and hood, with two casements above to the left. The east gable includes a large casement for the garret. The 19th-century addition has a casement to the east and two casements above.

Adjoining the farmhouse is a boundary wall from the early 19th century, made of brick with gabled brick coping, featuring a rounded corner and a wooden gate. The wall is approximately 40 meters long.
