Description

Water Lane Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that was heightened and re-fronted in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with a single ridge red brick stack. The eaves are decorated with dogtooth detailing. The building has two storeys plus a garret and consists of two bays. On each floor, there are two segmental arched tripartite casements. Between the top two windows, there is a single insurance plaque. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey, three-bay range.
