Description

Lambley House and the adjoining stable are a farmhouse built in the early 19th century. The structure is made of brick and has a stucco finish, topped with hipped and gabled roofs covered in concrete tiles. It features a plinth and rebated eaves, along with two ridge stacks, a single gable stack, and a single side wall stack. The house is three storeys tall and has three bays arranged in an L-plan.

The south front of the house has a central section that steps forward. It includes a central flat-roofed glazed porch, with two sash windows on the left and one on the right. Above the porch, there are three sash windows, and above those, three smaller sash windows.

On the east front, there is a full-height half-round bay with a conical roof on the left, featuring three sash windows on each floor. The top floor has a single sash window flanked by two blocked openings. To the right, there is a canted flat-roofed porch with a door and single sash windows on either side. Above this porch, there is a paired sash window, and above that, a single sash window. Further to the right, there is a mid-19th century rear wing with four sash windows on each floor.

The rear of the house has three gabled wings. The left wing has a door and a sash window on each floor above it. The west side of the rear wing features three sash windows to the left and a casement window to the right. Above, there is a Yorkshire sash window on the left and a sash window on the right.

At the west end of the house, there is a two-storey canted bay window with three sash windows on each floor, and above it, a single sash window. The adjoining stable is two storeys tall with a hipped roof. The east side has a central round-headed opening flanked by single doors, and above it, there is a round-headed casement window with single blank roundels on either side. The west side has a central opening flanked to the left by a door with an overlight and to the right by a hatch. Above this, there is a central round-headed blind recess flanked by single blind roundels, and above that, a half-round blind recess.
