Description
These brick kitchen garden walls, dating from approximately 1790, lie 250 metres north west of Strelley Hall and form part of Strelley Lodge. The walls are laid with brick and have flat slab coping. They are roughly square in plan, approximately 100 metres on a side. Five paired ashlar chimney pots are visible on the south side, indicating heated sections within the garden. A wall to the east adjoins the kitchen garden walls and includes a doorway with a segmental head. A single chimney pot is present on the north wall. Two adjoining lean-to sheds are attached to the north side; the left-hand shed has four casement windows and a door, all with segmental heads, while the right-hand shed has four garage doors and three additional doors.
