Description
The barn at Syringa House is an early 19th-century structure built of red brick with a pantile roof and dogtooth eaves. It stands two storeys tall and features a large central carriageway that is topped by a segmental arch, which is partially blocked. On the right side, there are two blocked slit ventilators, while the left side has three slit ventilators. Above the right side, there are two more blocked slit ventilators, with three additional slit ventilators to the left. To the right of the barn, slightly set back, is a single-storey wing that has three bays, constructed from coursed rubble, red brick, and pantiles, also featuring dogtooth eaves. This wing has a central doorway flanked by single window openings. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
