Description
High Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1742, rendered, likely over red brick, with a pantile roof featuring red brick coped gables and kneelers. It has two red brick gable stacks and displays a dogtooth and raised brick band at the eaves. The building is L-shaped, two storeys high, and consists of three bays, with a band at the first floor. The central doorway has a glazed 20th-century door and is flanked by single Yorkshire sash windows. Above, there are three similar, smaller Yorkshire sashes. All openings are set under segmental arches. Below the central first floor window, there is a plaque with a decorative shield inscribed "GF 1742".
