Description

The ice house at Serlby Hall is an early 19th-century structure made of red brick and ashlar. It features an ashlar-coped gable with kneelers and a slightly raised stretched eaves band. The central arched doorway leads into the interior, which consists of a short passage that shows signs of a single inner doorway. This passage ends with a flight of brick steps that lead to a large circular, domed storage chamber.
