Description

Granary Cottage is a former cart shed and granary dating from the early 18th century. The building is rendered and features a concrete pantile roof with a single rendered ridge stack, rendered coped gables, kneelers, and dentillated eaves. It stands two storeys high and has four bays. On the left side, there is a doorway with a half-glazed door, while the right side has a doorway with a glazed door, flanked by two central glazing bar casements. Above these, there are two similar casements. At the first floor level, there is a single tie plate on the right. The rear of the building shows evidence of blocked carriage arches, and there is a lean-to extension.
