Description

Bridge House is a late 18th-century house located on the west side of Church Lane, Matersay. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped roof covered in concrete pantiles. The house features two brick gable stacks and dentillated eaves. The two-and-a-half-storey, three-bay facade has a central doorway with a panelled door, overlight, and plain surround. Flanking the doorway are single glazing bar sashes, with three similar sashes above and three smaller sashes on the top floor. This house has group value demonstrating significant architectural or historic interest.
