Description
This building is a stable range located 20 meters east of number 20 on Chapel Street in Kirkby in Ashfield. It dates from the late 18th century and mid 19th century. The structure is made of coursed and squared rubble and brick, topped with pantile roofs and stone slab verges. It features a single external gable stack and is a single storey with five unequal bays. The openings primarily have stone lintels. On the west side, there is a stable door on the left flanked by single slatted casements. To the right, there is another stable door and a 20th-century garage door. Beyond that, there is a garage door flanked by single slatted casements, followed by another stable door. The south gable has a blocked square opening above.
