Description

This stable, located next to number 20 on Chapel Street in Kirkby in Ashfield, dates from the late 18th century and mid 19th century. It is constructed from dressed stone and brick, topped with a steeply pitched pantile roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the south side, there is a stable door on the right. The east gable features a door on the left, with a central blocked opening above it. This structure is included in the listing for its group value only.
