Description

The buildings at 37 and 39 Queen Street date from the late 18th century and are a pair of two-story shops with rendered facades and pantile roofs. They feature two 19th-century shopfronts, each with an eight-light window, wooden pilasters, and an entablature topped with sun blinds. A new door has been inserted between the shops, and there are matching contemporary doors at each end. Above the shopfronts are two canted wooden bays with transom and mullion windows containing nine casement lights. Smaller windows are positioned above the doors at either end.
