Description
The Beeches is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof featuring steeply pitched coped gables, kneelers, decorated eaves, and two gable stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and includes a plinth as well as first and second floor bands on the south gable end. It is two storeys tall with a garret.
The east front has two bays, featuring two 20th-century glazing bar casements with segmental heads, and a single 20th-century glazing bar casement above to the north. The south front has three bays, with the easternmost bay slightly projecting. The central doorway has a segmental head, a rectangular overlight, and a panelled door, flanked by single glazing bar casements with segmental heads. There is another glazing bar casement to the left and one to the right, positioned below the second floor band, along with a small garret glazing bar casement in the gable above.
