Description

Manor Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with 20th-century additions, built of red brick and featuring a pantile roof with tumbled gables, decorated eaves, and single ridge and gable stacks. The two-and-a-half-story, five-bay facade has a deep-set doorway on the left, sheltered by a small hood, and a fine moulded doorcase with a surround of single, slender spiralled rolls, angle blocks with paterae, a moulded cornice with guttae, a large, ornately traceried fanlight, panelled reveals, and a partially glazed door. The doorway is flanked by single, large, 20th-century polygonal bay windows each with a pantile roof. A plain sash window is located to the right, with a small doorway and partially glazed door beyond. Four plain sash windows are above, the one over the main door being larger with margin lights. Four small plain sashes are above that. All windows have segmental heads. This building has group value.
