Description
Ingleby Chase is a house built around 1830, which is incorrectly labeled as Ingleby House on the Ordnance Survey map. The building features a rendered exterior and a slate hipped roof with four moulded brick chimney stacks. It has a two-storey, three-bay front with a plinth and a timber fascia. The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door with a bordered overlight and a flat hood supported by brackets. This door is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, while the first floor has three similar sash windows. The side front has four bays, with a central tall sash window on the ground floor, flanked by single canted bays that each contain tall glazing bar sashes, topped with dentillated cornices and flat lead roofs. The first floor of the side front features four glazing bar sashes.
