Description
Nos 17 to 23 on Queen Street is an early 19th-century brick building topped with a slate roof. It features a corner block with four shopfronts, each framed by five Doric pilasters and an entablature that includes sun blinds above. On the first floor, there are four sash windows with 12 lights, adorned with stucco voussoirs, and a continuous delicate ironwork balcony at sill level. Above, there are four sash windows with nine lights, also featuring stucco voussoirs. There is a small shopfront and door leading onto Waterloo Street, with an extra bay set well back, and at the other end, there is a door with first and second floor sash windows above.
