Description

The churchyard cross at the Church of St. Mary, located on the west side of the churchyard, was built in 1910. It is made of ashlar and features an octagonal shaft that stands on a square base, rising to a gabled crucifixion at the top. This cross was erected in memory of Dr. Richard Smith, who died in 1602 and was the founder of Lincoln Bluecoats School. It is listed for its group value only.
