Description
Stonecliffe House is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a steeply pitched half hipped pantile roof. The original design was a lobby entry plan with a central stack, which has since been removed. The house is single storey with attics and has a five-bay front. The off-centre 20th-century door is flanked by a two-light 20th-century window on the left and a three-light 20th-century window on the right. To the left, there is an additional door and a two-light window. Inside, the house has chamfered beams with shield stops and a clasped purlin roof.
