Description
The Old Vicarage is a house that was formerly a vicarage, built in the late 17th century with significant alterations made around 1795. The building features coursed squared limestone rubble and painted brick, topped with a black glazed pantile roof that has two brick gable stacks. It is designed in a T-plan and consists of two storeys with a three-bay front. The central entrance has a half-glazed 19th-century door set within an open timber gabled porch, flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, all with segmental heads. The rear wing and the left-hand side gable are constructed of stone. Inside the kitchen, there are two possibly reset stopped and chamfered beams. The first-floor doors are panelled and are similar to those found in the church, which date back to 1795.
